Forty one Letters came about when I began thinking about how a spouse feels when someone they love has passed away. 

The loneliness that occurs after the hectic days of the funeral have settled and a family member is tasked with the job of cleaning out the house. Sometimes they find things like a carton of milk that has gone bad or bananas that are black and rotten.

While going through closets they find treasures long forgotten.

On occasion children discover that their loved one had a different story, one they had no idea existed. Perhaps they weren't the person they thought they were.

Forty One Letters is based on a true story and explores one of those hidden stories.
