I get it. I am generally not in a big hurry to exchange my email address for another newsletter either.
Something that will clutter my inbox among all the other email I am bombarded with daily.
I don't do that.
We might find common interests. I write stories in the Adventure and Love Story genera.
If you are interested in pornography please don't sign up. I mean it. I won't ever write that and you will be disappointed. Feel free to go somewhere else.
Period. Mike drop.
I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
For those of you familiar with a 60"s television show called Laverne and Shirley, this is where Fonzy (Henry Winkler) has a statue and Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney worked as bottle cappers at the fictional Shotz Brewery. That tall building in the opening credits is the city office building by the way.
Oh yeah, and Milwaukee is about an hour north of Chicago.
I am up writing at four in the morning. I know, I am an old guy and old guy's get up early.
I drink too much coffee (is that a thing?) while I research and chose words that will, on occasion make myself and you cry. (Love stories are like that sometimes.)
I send an email newsletter I call 'Under the cover' once a week on Friday morning.
Honestly, I am far too busy to send a newsletter every day and you are busy doing something else.
I promise to keep 'Under the Cover' short and include something to brighten your day and report on what readers are asking about. On occasion it contains additional information not contained in the back stories and what made me write them. You will be invited to tell one of your stories.
I may ask a question now and again to find out what your interests are. What you would like to read about.
This is a two way conversation. Like your first date when you met that special someone at a coffee shop. Hmmmm, there's that reference to coffee again. Perhaps I need to cut back a little.
Well you need to chose. Subscribe below or go back to doom scrolling on your smartphone.
